Confidence

According to dictionary.com Confidence is defined as

confidence

1.
full trust; belief in the powers, trustworthiness, or reliability of a person or thing: We have every confidence in their abilityto succeed.
2.
belief in oneself and one's powers or abilities; self-confidence; self-reliance; assurance: His lack of confidencedefeated him.
3.
certitude; assurance: He described the situation with suchconfidence that the audience believed him completely.

I found it very interesting that in two of the definitions contained the word belief. I also found it interesting that in the synonyms is listed FAITH first! (See below)

1. faith, reliance, dependence,  trust.
2.Confidence, assurance both imply a faith in oneself. Confidencemay imply trust in oneself or arrogant self-conceit. Assurance implies even more sureness of oneself; this may be shown asundisturbed calm or as offensive boastfulness.

I know it is so hard to have confidence in yourself. I have lived my life trying to be confident and it has finally started to sink in. I don't look in the mirror and wish that I was taller or skinnier or had higher check bones I look in the mirror and see myself for who I am and the person that I love.

I really hope that women of today's society see the importance of having self worth and confidence. You don't need the world to tell you who to be because no one is better at being you then....YOU!

Be Confident:
To many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren't. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses and it is only when you accept everything you are-and aren't- that you will truly succeed.

Confidence and Self-Worth

BY ELDER GLENN L. PACE

"To lack confidence is to have feelings of low self-worth. We are preoccupied with our weaknesses, and we lack faith in the Lord’s ability to use those weaknesses for our good. We do not understand our inestimable worth in the eyes of God, nor do we appreciate our divine potential. Ironically, both pride and a lack of self-confidence cause us to focus excessively on ourselves and to deny the power of God in our lives."

Hmmm

Well it is tax deadline this week and surprisingly I'm doing nothing. My work is finished! School is almost ended... which by the way is fabulous! Right now I'm hoping to pass my Math class. It is such a struggle. I feel like I don't know what the heck is going on. I try to make it to class as much as I can but you know those 8 am classes are such a struggle. All I want to do is stay in bed where it is warm and enjoy what little sleep I seem to be getting. I have been so tired lately it has been driving me crazy! I just want to stay home and sleep all day every day. To bad that will never ever get to happen. My photography class is going great though. I'm so excited to that it is starting to get warm and that I will finally have some time to be able to do some photo shoots and get my name out there. So if your looking for a photographer....
